Mildred McClure Plott

Mrs. Mildred McClure Plott, 81, of Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Murphy Medical Center, in Murphy, North Carolina.

Mrs. Plott was born Tuesday, September 1, 1925 in Towns County, Ga., to the late Thomas C. McClure and the late Leila Justice McClure. She was a member of West Union Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Plott; and sons, Edward C. Plott and Gerald W. Plott.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Conley of Blairsville; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Ruth McClure, also of Blairsville; sisterin law, Ruby Lee Hilderband of Perry, Ga.; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services were held Friday, August 3, 2007 at 11 a.m. from Union Memory Gardens Cemetery, with the Rev. Tim Lee officiating. Music was provided by Jon Conley and Phil Nichols. Interment followed in Union Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Phil Nichols, W.H. McCarter, Jon Conley, Andrew Conley, Andy Lee, Philip Lee and Bailey Bellow.

The family received friends at the cemetery following the service.
