Nunsense on stage in Blue Ridge The smash-hit musical comedy Nunsense is a hilarious talent show staged by the five survivors at the Little Sisters of Hoboken nunnery, the rest of the sisterhood having succumbed to botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. Fortunately a few of the sisters were off playing bingo with some Maryknolls and so were spared. There was only enough money left to bury 48 so the Reverend Mother decided to stage a talent show where the remaining "Lil' Hobos" parade their talents at a variety show staged to to raise the money to bury the last four sisters who were put on ice in the convent deep freeze. You don't have to be Catholic to find humor in the hysterical antics of these endearing sisters Show Times are August 24 through September 16, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Sunday Matinees at 2:00 p.m. Theater doors open 30 minutes before Showtime.
