Cooking with Barbara
Bulldog Brittle

My friend, Oreen Adams, gave me this recipe. Her sons attended the University of Georgia and she would make it for them. Her friends in Wrightsville,Ga., gave her the recipe and they took it to tailgate parties.

I don't think this was the original name; however, it is a good, easy snack and the children can help make it. It seems to do best on a sunny day and to set up several hours or overnight; otherwise, it is a little "sticky" at first but still delicious.
