Linnie Leona Killian

Mrs. Linnie Leona Killian, 76, of Honeysuckle Ln., Blairsville, Ga., went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 27, 2007 from an extended illness.

Leona was born March 12, 1931 to the late Henry Warren and the late Katherine Sparks Warren. She was also preceded in death by her wonderful husband of 45 years, John William (Bill) Killian; and infant son, Joey Killian. She built her life around her family and church. She was a member of NewHarmony Baptist Church and was very active in directing and singing in the choir.

Surviving Mrs. Killian are her sons and daughters-in-law, John Raymond and Donna Kay Killian, Royce Lee and Barbara Jean Killian all of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Helen and Zane Richard Marsh of Oakwood, Ga.; sisters, Ana Lee Rogers of Fannin County, Odith Ballew of the Union County Nursing Home; six grandchildren, five step grandchildren,

six great grandchildren,

10 great step grandchildren;

a host of nieces,

nephews and many

other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services

were held Sunday, July

29, 2007 at 2:30 p.m.

from the Mt. Zion Baptist

Church with the Rev.

Kenny Beavers and Rev. Chad Underwood officiating. Special music was presented by the Kelley Trio. Pallbearers were Joey Marsh, Corey Marsh, Darren Hughes, Blake Melton, J.E.Corn and Cecil Warren. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
