Final days of Ga. Mtn. Fair

Get ready for the final days of the Fair! The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds is hosting the 57th annual Georgia Mountain Fair from July 18- 29. A complete schedule of the second week (July 26- 29) is listed below. For additional information, visit www.GeorgiaMountainFairgrou nds.com.

Thursday, July 26

Bluegrass Day

2:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. - Seldom Scene, Country Gentlemen & Bluegrass Alliance

Friday, July 27

2:00 p.m. - 55th Annual County Music Show with the Georgia Mountain Men of Country Music

6:30 p.m. - Gene Watson

8:00 p.m. - Howard Cunningham and the Georgia Mountain Fair Staff Band & the Sweetheart Cloggers

Saturday, July 28

2:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. - Connie Smith

5:00 p.m. - 55th Annual Country Music Show with Howard Cunningham and the Georgia Mountain Fair Staff Band

Sunday, July 29

11:00 a.m. - Interfaith Worship with the Steeles

2:00 p.m. - Crystal River & Brian Free and Assurance

ATTRACTIONS:

Little Ponderosa Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Texas Longhorn Steer Pioneer Village, Arts & Crafts Village, Exhibit Hall

CARNIVAL:

Monday-Thursday: 2-8 p.m.; Friday: 2-9 p.m.; Saturday: noon-9 p.m.; Sunday: 1-6 p.m.

*Unlimited Carnival Rides are available for only $15 Sunday through Thursday before 9 p.m.

EVENT COST:

$8 admission ($2 parking); Children under10 are admitted free.

All music performances are included in the admission price.

A FunFair Pass, which may be used any three days of the Fair, is available for $20 and can be purchased in advance or at the gate.

Sorry, not pets allowed.

EVENT TIMES:

Monday-Thursday: 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.; Friday & Saturday: 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Sunday: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
