Frances Horney

A Homecoming Celebration for Mrs. Frances Horney, Age 72 of Suches Georgia will be held Friday July 20, 2007 at 11:00 am from Zion Baptist Church in Suches, Ga. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Rev. Russell Lyle will officiate.

A native of Orlando Florida, Mrs. Horney had lived in Suches for the past 10 years. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Suches. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer society or Zion Baptist Church. No visitation will be held at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Horney Sr. of Suches; daughters; Jodie McKnight of St. Charles, Ill., Julie Renee Barr of Cartersville, Ga.; son, Johnnie Ray Horney Jr. of Orlando, Fla.; brothers, Billy Thurman of Jacksonville, Ala., and Alvin Thurman of Orlando, Fla.; sons-in-law and daughter-in-law; seven grandchildren, one step grandchild and two great grandchildren.

Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega is in charge of arrangements.
