Softball Mites take third place in state

The Union County Softball Mite All-Stars took third place in the 2007 Georgia Recreation and Parks (GRPA) State Tournament. Union picked up a win by defeating Mount Zion 11-3 to open the tournament.

The 2007 roster included Kayla Brown, Courtney Busbee, Crystal Busbee, Chelsea Cook, Jackie Cook, Halle King, Madison Garrett, Karley Nix, Kelsey Nix, Courtney Payne, Kyndal Stanley, and Lauren Zollinger.
