Two men have opened a furniture store, Hiawassee Cabin Furniture, that is a mustsee if you are building a new house or redecorating.

David Baggett and Tyree Deitz have their workshop in the back of the store and can customize any piece of wood, putting your name and address for outside your home, or add a bear to the back of a bed or a chair....whatever. Lamps and lampshades you won't find anywhere else. Go by their new store, at the rooster on Bell Creek Road. You will be amazed at what they can create with their tools and the wood they gather.

They also have some novelty items for that person that has everything. They are open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday - Saturday, or call 706-835-7333.
