Midget All-Stars trounce Towns 8-2 in title game

The Union County Midget Rec All-Stars (Age 11-12) captured the District 7 Championship trophy by winning four games. The deciding game saw Union post a convincing 8-2 win over Towns County.

Union jumped out to an early lead and never lost stride, as strong pitching performances kept Towns County off the scoreboard until late in the game. Union will now move on to the state playoffs.
