Today, I am in the mood to just ramble on about things in general that are on my mind.

I do not much like how things are going in Iraq. After all, I do not understand why people would want to kill themselves in order to kill others. After all, I did not understand it when the Japanese did it in WWII.

I do not understand why the Catholic Church has to have Ten Commandments for drivers. I mean people do not abide by the ones we have now, what makes them think that drivers would?

I do not understand people around here that just love to complain about everything. After all, do they not know that people really do not think highly of these perennial complainers. It is like crying wolf all the time, after a while it falls on deaf ears. And we all know that positive ways of dealing with people works much better.

I do not understand why people can't just be nice to one another. You don't have to like people, you can say what you want to say in such a manner that it does not come off hurtful, but useful instead. There is no need to insult people when you do not know all the fact.

I do not understand why people are so narrow minded and do not accept others way of thinking and doing. After all, can you imagine how boring life would be if we all liked and did the same things? That would be bad for me, especially since I like soccer and many people do not. I would have to give that up. No thanks, I will keep our diversity.

Finally, I actually do understand, to a degree all the things above I said I do not understand. The reason I wrote it all down is because many of us say those things. We understand why people want to kill one another, we just do not like it and think it is dumb. Then about the driving issues. We understand as we have all been there at least once or twice in our lives and maybe we have been able to control ourselves. But we also know that the church has no business being on the road. It looks to me that they are trying to our attention away from some area that they are not wanting us to watch.

I understand the complainers. They have nothing else to do and so they complain. Or maybe they are meanspirited and want to just cause other pain like they are in. I also understand the narrow minded people. They are like that because they are only comfortable with what they know. Maybe they are not secure enough in themselves to step outside the box and try something new.
