Edd William Bowers

Mr. Edd William Bowers, 64, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, June 17, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Jay and Gennevieve Bowers; infant sister, Joyce; and brothers, Odell and Ray Bowers.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Ella Jo Bowers; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Carol Bowers of Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Ronnie Hawkins of Chatsworth; brothers-in-law, Wayne and Alec Steele of Chatsworth; nephews and nieces, Kevin and Michelle Brown of Gainesville; Shay and Dalea Hawkins of Newman; and Cory and Sandi Hawkins of Kennesaw.

Pallbearers were Shay Hawkins, Cory Hawkins, Alec Steele, Wayne Steele, Charles Totherow and Leslie Groves of Blairsville.

The funeral was held Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial followed in Murray Memorial Gardens.
