Car show supports Relay
The 1st Annual RE/MAX Enotah Car Show to benefit the Relay for Life American Cancer Society brought out over 150 Cars, Trucks & specialty vehicles on Saturday.
"We had a fantastic car showing and lots of food and fun for our 1st show. It was a beautiful day in the mountains and the rain held off until just after the show closed" said Sherry Barnes of RE/MAX Enotah Realty.
Thanks to our many Sponsors, Vendors, Judges and Car Show participants the show was a great success raising over $6,000 for the Relay for Life American Cancer Society,
George Glaxe with his 1930 Auburn Speedster took home Judges Choice "Best in Show". George brought his car all the way from Jonesboro, Ga. to participate in the show. "One of the nicest cars I've ever seen," said Judge Frank Iacobucci.
Adult Peoples Choice winner was Gary LaLonde of Franklin, North Carolina with his 1956 Ford Pickup Truck and Josh Carpenter took home the People's choice in the Youth/Teen class with his 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

A special thanks to the Kiwanis for working the concessions, the Union County Sherriff's office off duty officers, the Union County Fire Department and the Civil Air Patrol for assisting with the parking, the Relay for Life Coordinators for attending with Skin Cancer Education information and Kevin Green Construction for the needed help in setting up the show and sponsoring the T-Shirt Giveaways.

There were over 100 Raffle/Door Prize winners and several people got to experience a ride in the RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon. The kids had a lot of fun in the Space Walk and every kid was a winner in the Hoola Hoop contest!
