Dog house donation needed at S.A.F.E.

Support in Abusive Family Emergencies, Inc., a nonprofit organization providing support, advocacy and emergency shelter to victims of domestic abuse, child abuse and sexual abuse in Towns and Union Counties, is seeking the donation of a dog house. The dog house needs to be in good condition, and able to house a medium to large-sized dog.

Sometimes S.A.F.E. clients will need temporary emergency shelter, but have pets they do not want to leave behind. Our emergency shelter will provide a temporary safe place for them and their pet in these situations. However, a dog house is needed to offer shade and shelter for the client's pets.

S.A.F.E. is the state certified domestic violence and sexual assault program serving Towns and Union Counties, and is a certified member of the Children's Advocacy Centers in Georgia. Partial funding is received from the Georgia Department of Human Resources.
