"Being a Platinum Event sponsor is just one of the ways Mrs. Sackett and her staff have joined our community event. From donating sausage & biscuits for our Saturday morning walkers to supporting our teams with pancake suppers, McDonald's has been there for our volunteers and cancer survivors," she added. "The Hair People have joined the Union County Relay For Life event for 2007," reported volunteer Stacy Head (pictured second from right).

\"We are excited that they will be offering $10.00 hair cuts on Thursday, June 14 from 6 - 8 p.m. at their salon location in the shopping center with Pat's Hallmark in Blairsville," she added.

Sandi and the staff will donate all the proceeds to the local event to support cancer research as well as patient services programs such as the

"Look Good Feel Better" class coming up Saturday, July 16. The Hair People not only support the American Cancer Society mission, but also are glad to help their clients when they are ready to donate hair to such programs as Locks of Love.
