Healing Ministry continues

The River of Healing Chapter of the Order of St. Luke the Physician sponsored an integrated teaching and healing service at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd on April 23rd. Father Nigel Mumford, Director of the Healing Center at Christ the King in Albany NY, spoke to a full house.

Something always happens when we pray and we are instructed by Jesus to pray for each other for healing. The chapter has begun to learn of healings that happened that night or are on-going. In one instance an elderly lady who suffered with severe neck pain had x-rays that revealed multiple fractures in disks of the neck, due to her pain she could not attend the service, but her daughter stood in for her as Father Nigel and a prayer team prayed, the lady has reported "clicking in her neck as if things were moving into place" and the pain in her neck is gone;

We give God praise and thanks for this and other wonderful reports of improved health.

The River of Healing Chapter invites all in our area to the study of the Healings of Jesus on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd Parish Hall.We also have a prayer service with healing prayers on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm and a service of Holy Communion with healing prayers on Thursdays at noon. All are welcome to attend.
