Atlanta Golden Olympics Champion
Mr. Clement B. McIntosh, age 76, and better known as "Mac", competed in the racquetball event. Mac played in the age bracket 75-79 and won the gold. Mac also competed in the age bracket 65-69 and won the bronze.
The Atlanta Golden Olympics was hosted by the Marcus Jewish Center of Atlanta. The games were played from May 16-22, 2007. The senior games, ages 50+, is to enhance good health, body conditioning, competition, enjoying and making new friends.
"Mac" is a member of the Blue Ridge Mountain Fitness Club. He works part-time (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) at Bi-Lo Grocery in Blairsville, bagging groceries for the great customers.
