Fourth Annual 'An Evening Under the Stars'

St. Francis of Assisi's Relay for Life team will host their fourth annual "An Evening Under the Stars" silent auction and wine tasting. The fundraiser for the Relay for Life will be held at Crane Creek Vineyard in Young Harris, Ga., on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 6 p.m. until the stars come out. Included in the $20 ticket price ($25 at the door) is admission and hors d' oeuvres by Moschetto's. You will also have the opportunity to bid on wonderful silent auction items donated by many members of our community. Some of the items from last year's auction were; four rounds of golf at Butternut Creek Golf Course, four rounds of golf at Brasstown Valley Resort, a week at an upscale condo (three blocks for the beach) in Naples, Fla., an overnight stay at Chateau Elan, art pieces from Pat Aube' Gray, Helen Baenninger, Will Craig, Corinne Kennedy, Deborah Larsen and Pat Thomlinson. Gift baskets donated by Blue Ridge Candles, Mary Kay, Crane Creek Vineyards, Robynnes Nest, Up the Creek, Mountain Crossings, Back in the Woods and Prete's Pizza.
