Jerry William Sosebee

Mr. Jerry William Sosebee, 55, of Townsend Mill Rd., Young Harris, Ga., died Monday, May 14, 2007 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. Sosebee was born Nov. 5,1951 in White County, Ga., the son of Elnora Powell Sosebee and the late Elmer Sosebee. He was a lifelong resident of Towns County. Mr. Sosebee was a member of West Union Baptist Church.

Surviving Mr. Sosebee are his mother, Elnora Sosebee of Young Harris; sisters and brother-in-law, Jean Thomas of Young Harris, Edith and Earl Hunter of Lilburn, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill and Geraldine Sosebee of Buford, Ga., Donald and Amanda Sosebee of Marble, N.C., Fred and Carolyn Sosebee of Gainesville,

Ga., George and Wanda

Sosebee of Young Harris;

several nieces, nephews,

cousins, many other relatives

and friends also survive.

Funeral services

were held Wednesday,

May 16, 2007 from the

West Union Baptist Church

with the Rev. Jerry Young

and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Special music was presented by Larry Nichols. Pallbearers were Brian Underwood, Phillip Brown, Paul Shook, Max Lovingwood, Frank Uhle and Eddie Bradley. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
