BSA Troop 101 Holds Court of Honor
Boy Scouts of America Troop 101 of Blairsville, chartered by the First United Methodist Church of Union County, held its quarterly Court of Honor on April 30, 2007. Ten very busy Boy Scouts were recognized for their achievements in rank and merit badges.
Rank advancements were awarded to Devon Drullinger and Jacob Chambliss-Tenderfoot Scout; Andrew Stevens- Second Class Scout; and Andrew Servis-Life Scout.
Merit Badges in the following categories were earned by: Andrew Servis- Personal Fitness and Family Life; Justin Cook, Brady Kumler and Andrew Brumley-Family Life; Andy Torres-Auto Mechanics; "T" Bentley-Aviation; and Marshall Johnston- Environmental Science.
A big congratulations goes out to each of these scouts for their hard work and dedication. Troop 101 will be attending summer camp at Scoutland Scout Reservation in Gainesville, Ga., the week of June 18-22, 2007. Summer Camp is a great opportunity for the boys to earn advancements and merit badges. So look for more advancement announcements to come!
