Luau to benefit Woman's Center

Summer is already upon us and if you don't have plans for Saturday, June 2 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., you may consider attending a family event. The W o m a n ' s Enrichment Center (WEC) is putting together a wonderful luau. Our location will be Antioch Baptist Church in Blairsville, Ga. Come enjoy delicious buffet style Hawaiian dinners. Then sit back and relax as we have an evening full of entertainment with Steve "Elvis", originally from New York. Steve brings his live act to the stage-no lip sync here. To keep the memory alive, his performance includes a mix of early, mid and late Elvis. He wows audiences and steals hearts. Emily Carey, who is a child gospel vocalist, will be performing Hawaiian songs and gospel favorites. She's beautiful and it's hard to believe so much talent is bundled up in the little gal. Last, but not least, is Dean Ho singing along with the

greats and

bringing a few smiles, too. There will be doorprizes and face painting for the kids. We have a silent auction of mixed items; one great donation is a one week condo in Branson, Missouri. A live auction of home-made specialty cakes from the fantastic bakers of Choestoe Baptist Church. Our MC for the evening is Don Hunt. You will not want to miss this event. It helps benefit our Woman's Enrichment Centers. Please come and meet volunteers from WEC and Antioch Baptist Church. Advance tickets only, call 828- 389-6126. Aloha!
