Vena Estelle "Pat" Nichols

Mrs. Vena Estelle "Pat" Nichols, 87, of Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Union County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Nichols was born Monday, November 24, 1919 in White County, Ga., to the late Luther Gerdene Satterfield and the late Amanda Elizabeth Cain Satterfield. She was a member Yahoola Baptist Church Dahlonega, Ga. She was a giving person and supported the Native American Orphanages, Boys Town and Jews for Jesus. She was Riveter at Bell Bomber Aircraft during WWII. She was preceded death by husband, James Howard Nichols; brother, Ralph Satterfield; and sister, Ada Bruner.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Tommy

Rogers; daughter, Micah

Nichols; son and daughter-inlaw,

Tim and Julia Nichols;

daughter, Jamie Burbage;

daughter, Jackie Nichols, of all of Blairsville; six grandchildren and five

great grandchildren.

Graveside services

were held Saturday, May

12, 2007 at 1 p.m. from the

Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega with Rev. Lymon Caldlwell officiating.
