Ethel Rosalee Gibson

Ethel Rosalee Gibson, 81, native and lifelong resident of Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

Ethel was born Tuesday, February 9, 1926 in Union County, Ga., to the late Paul Gibson and the late Nellie Brown Gibson. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brothers, John Earl Gibson and James H. Gibson, both of Blairsville; brother, Buck Gibson of Young Harris, Ga., sisters, Betty Gibson Taylor, Lilly Vee Gibson Adams and Aileen Gibson McArthur, all of Blairsville; several nieces and nephews also survive, along with many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 11, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Chatham, Rev. Guy Bradley and Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Music was provided by Liberty Baptist Church

Choir, and nieces and nephews.
