Area students are learning the benefits of clean living as well as character building thanks to a campaign being implemented at Woody Gap High School. The campaign, known as MAD (Making A Difference) is designed to teach students about the dangers of tobacco products, encourage good decisions for a healthy future, empower students and offer youth acceptance and encouragement, all while promoting good character, education and leadership.
United Community is proud to support this very critical program and recently provided financial support to the high school for educational MAD materials to be distributed to Woody Gap students.
