Congratulations 2nd LT Robert M. Murray, USMC

LTC (Ret) Rob Murray, Ashley Murray, 2ndLT Murray, Vickie Murray and Ashley DesPres.

The North Georgia College & State University Class of 2007 included the Commissioning of two USMC Lieutenants in addition to 18 U.S. Army Lieutenants on Saturday, May 5 at the Center for Military Leadership at NGCSU in Dahlonega, Ga.

One of the newly commissioned officers is 2ndLT Robert Murray. 2ndLT Murray is a 2003 graduate of Union County High School and the son of Rob and Vickie Murray of Young Harris, Ga. His family and friends were all present as 2ndLT Murray was Sworn-In with the Commissioning Oath of Office by his father, Retired Army LTC Rob Murray. 2ndLT Murray will report to Quantico, Va., in June for The Basic School for USMC Officers.
