Geraldean Loretta Davenport Chance

Mrs. Geraldean Loretta Davenport Chance, 59, of Blairsville, Georgia, died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, Ga.

Mrs. Chance was born Monday, October 13, 1947 in Union County, Ga., to Robert Davenport and the late Nadean Hughes Davenport. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Geraldean was preceded in death by her husband, Gene D. Chance; mother, Nadean Davenport; daughter, Tina Mowry; and granddaughter, Jessica Mowry.

Survivors include her father, Robert Davenport of Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Mark Beaty of Marysville, Wash.; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Krystal Chance of Blairsville; son-in-law, Doug Mowry of Murphy, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Martha Davenport; brother and sister-inlaw, J.L. and Jane Davenport; brother and sister-in-law, H.B. and Linda Davenport; sister and brother-inlaw, Shirley and Ronnie McDonald, all of Blairsville; brother and sisterin law, Elmer and Sherry Davenport of Wallahalla, South Carolina; grandchildren, Jeremy Samples,

Samantha Beaty, Christopher

Mowry, Zachary Shook, and

Dylan Chance, several

nieces and nephews also

survive.

Services were held Thursday, April 19,

2007 at 7 p.m. from the

Chapel of Cochran

Funeral Home with the

Rev. Brent Chatham officiating.

Interment will follow

in Memorial Park

Cemetery in Gainesville, Ga.
