NOW HERE'S A TIP
BY JOANN DERSON

. "I usually get plastic bags when going to do grocery shopping, but I have the bagger package all frozen foods together in a paper bag. The bag is easily identifiable so it can be taken inside and put away first." -- A.D. in Washington

. "My latest best buy: a dozen pretty king-size pillowcases. What I did with them: garment bags for clothes in storage. The fabric keeps dust off while letting air circulate. They are the perfect size and work magnificently for my semi-fancy dresses. All the best!" -- C.C. in Texas

. Tomatoes stop ripening once they are refrigerated. Ripen to taste at room temperature, then refrigerate.
