When Rick Jones came to work with PBI in June 1997, little did owners, Mike and Pat Kiernan, know that he would be the first employee to officially retire from PBI.

Rick started after taking early retirement from AT&T. As an Inside Sales Representative for Panel Built, Rick quickly proved himself as a valuable member of the Sales Team. Because of his skill and attention to detail, Rick was trained on CAD drafting to assist in quick turnaround time for quoting sales leads.

As the Estimator for PBI, Rick was able to assist the sales team to outbid the competition by providing reliable information to our customers and field representatives within hours of a Request for Proposal (which usually took a day or two by our competition). Rick was always the first one in for the Sales Team and was "The Expert" to ask on anything PBI sold.

After Rick's second career at Panel Built, he and his wife Sandy will move to Jefferson, Ga., where they plan to spoil their grandchildren and spend time with their family. All of us at Panel Built wish Rick and Sandy the best in their retirement and know that God has them in the palm of his hand. Panel Built, Inc. is a modular building and steel manufacturing company located in the Robert W. Jones Industrial Park in Blairsville with distribution throughout the United States and overseas.
