New FM radio station in Young Harris

The Wolf Creek Broadcasting, Inc. is pleased to announce that Young Harris, GA is the location for a new radio station, 95.1 on your FM dial. The new station will be serving the surrounding communities. The Wolf Creek Broadcasting Network is a locally owned and operated radio broadcaster that currently operates Wolf-AM - WLSB 1400, WYHG 770, and WALH 1340. Wolf Creek Broadcasting was the high bidder in an FCC auction for the new Young Harris station, and is planning to be on air by Labor Day 2007 on 95.1 FM. The Network's General Manager, Rebecca St.John, a seasoned radio professional and a long time resident of North Georgia will be the General Manager of the new station as well. President and COO, Clair W. Frazier will continue to oversee the entire organization. Mrs. Frazier is a Young Harris College Alumna and is active in college affairs and is a native of North Georgia.

"We intend to renovate our current facility in Young Harris to accommodate the new FM studio," continued Mrs. Frazier. "It is centrally located and near the Young Harris campus, where we hope to maintain a close relationship."
