'Circle the Bald' bicycle tour

A local event coincides and complements the Tour de Georgia bike race. A 36 mile circuit of Brasstown Bald or a 12 mile ride around Lake Chatuge (your choice) kicks off on Friday, April 20th, 7:30 AM at the No. Georgia Fairgrounds in Hiawassee. Entry fee $30, T-shirt, refreshments and goody-bag provided. 140 entrants are already signed up. Tour de Georgia Stage 5 ends on top of the Bald later in the afternoon. sabacycles.com
