Jerry Frances Dyer Mrs. Jerry Frances Dyer, 67, of Haralson Drive, Blairsville, Ga., died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in the Union General Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Dyer was born May 7,1939 in Fulton County, Ga., the daughter of the late Louis Parker and the late Lelia DeLong Parker. She had worked as a caregiver in the county for several years. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Freeman. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Dyer was of the Baptist faith. Surviving Mrs. Dyer is her loving husband of 46 years, Gordon Dyer of Blairsville; sons and daughterin law, Greg Dyer of Atlanta, Ga., Brian and Andrea Dyer of Lawrencville; sisters and brother-in-law, Martha Miller of Donaldsonville, Ga., Ann Reagan of Blairsville, Carolyn and Teddy Wilson of Decatur, Ga.; uncle, Ralph DeLong of Roswell, Ga.; grandson, Elijah Dyer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services were held Friday, April 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Keith Jones and Rev. Ron Morgan officiating. Special music was presented by the Kelley Trio. Interment will follow in the Choestoe Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation in Mrs. Dyer's memory.
