Union upsets Rabun
Golfers get rare win over Cats

      The Panthers golf team picked up a big win over over Rabun County last Thursday, squeezing out a tight victory over the team that Panthers Head Coach Jim Hughes described as one of the top two teams in the region. The Panthers shot a 164 while Rabun finished at 168.

Coach records milestone win

      Lady Panthers varsity soccer Head Coach Tim Hunter reached his milestone 100th win last week, in a 4-0 victory over the Hebron Christian Academy Lady Lions. For Coach Hunter the win comes in only his eighth season, giving him an average of more than a dozen wins per season.

Five-run fourth thwarts Panthers

      The Lady Panthers won their final home game of the season, shutting out the Hebron Christian Academy Lady Lions in a 4-0 win. "It ended up being a great night," Lady Panthers Head Coach Tim Hunter said. "We had two senior mid-fielders score goals late, so that was pretty big.

      The Young Harris Mountain Lions were clicking on all cylinders against Cleveland State, easily winning the game 13-1. Freshman Mark Swanson threw shutout baseball through the first six innings, before finally allowing one run to score in the seventh. He struck out six batters on the day.
