Stay healthy with green tea

Green tea has theraputic and medicinal benefits.
Green tea has been shown to have significant medicinal and therapeutic properties which has been well known in China and the rest of Asia for many centuries. It is now being recognized in the Western countries as medicinal, helping prevent tooth decay, high blood pressure, heart disease and some forms of cancer.

The high caffeine content invigorates and improves concentration, but don't drink it before bedtime. A cup of green tea may have 10-50 mg. of caffeine, depending on how long you brew it. Cold, it enhancing athletic performance. It has cholesterol-lowering effects, has a beneficial effect on the circulation and liver, and detoxifies the blood. Several cups of green tea a day are needed to reap the benefits-a good morning boast.

The difference between black tea and green is in their processing. Black tea is fermented and green tea, which is prepared from steamed, dried leaves, is not allowed to ferment.
