BCBS rep to speak at NARFE

Allan Graham, Senior Account Consultant for Federal Employee Program, will be the guest speaker at the Tuesday April 10th NARFE meeting. NARFE meetings are open to all current or retired federal employees, their spouses or survivors, and are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Cobbs Mill Restaurant in Blairsville starting at noon.

NARFE was founded in 1921 with the mission of protecting the earned rights and benefits of America's active and retired federal workers. NARFE is the largest federal employee/retiree organization dedicated to solely to representing the retirement interests of current and future annuitants their spouses and survivors.

Active and retired federal workers, retired and active military personal should be pursuing enactment of legislation to pay for health insurance premiums with pre-tax dollars. Federal Retiree Health Care Tax Relief Bills S-773 and H.R. 1110 will allow the deduction of these premiums from their Income Tax. Current federal employees enjoy this benefit but will lose it when they retire.
