Fashion on a 'budget'

What's up - what is going on - it's all about fashion - where do you shop?? Do you have a favorite place to shop for your clothes?? Are you "addicted" to the "Thrift Shops" when you have the urge to go shopping for some new outfits?? The Blairsville Christian Women's Club have found some models who will scout the "Thrift Shops" to put together some "outfits" that out guests will "ooh" and ahh" over each and ever one and "won't believe that all came from the thrift shops here in Blairsville." Our guests will also get to vote on who the winner will be as to who has the best outfit at the lowest price!! Exciting, yes!!

On April 4 the Blairsville Christian Women's Club invites all you ladies to join us for their monthly luncheon and experience the "best one hour and 45 minutes of your life!! We meet at 12:00 Noon - 1:45 p.m. at Cobbs Mill Restuarant in the Garden Room. The food is delicious and the cost is only $9.00 (Incl.)

We will have music to go along with our fashion show. John Redgrave from Blairsville is just the right person to blend the music right in to compliment our fashions.

And, to finish with a fashion flair, our speaker, Ruth Berkes from Fairfield Glade, TN, will tell us how she uses the "thrift shop" "scraps and pieces" of cloth to make beautiful "quilts" and tells how she has a "quilt of life." Please come and hear her!

This will be one of those outstanding times that you will share with your friends or you could bring them with you and share the experiene together.
