Morgan, Roberts & Haas in concert April 6

Old time country and gospel music by Tom Morgan, Dalton Roberts and Lynne Haas will be featured in a free concert Friday,April 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, N.C. The public is welcome to enjoy a public exhibition of Folk School student crafts from 6:40 - 7:00 p.m in the Keith House Community Room, where the concert will be held.

Tom Morgan is a native of Morgan Springs near Dayton, Tennessee and has loved downto earth country and gospel music since his earliest recollections. He has an extensive knowledge of old time and bluegrass songs and is also a recognized authority on building and repairing acoustic string instruments. Dalton Roberts is one of East Tennesse?s finest finger style guitar pickers and a talented songwriter. He is retired after a career in education followed by 16 years as Hamilton County, TN Executive. Lynne Haas, from North Georgia, has been singing and playing autoharp and mountain dulcimer with Tom Morgan, Dalton Roberts and others for the past eight years.
