Coffeehouse at the Playhouse

The Peacock Playhouse in Hayesville will soon be sponsoring its first ever Coffehouse at the Playhouse event featuring singer-songwriter, Mike Whitney on April 21 at 8 p.m. As you may remember, Mike gave us great performance back in January as we kicked off our Winter Concert Series fundraising event. He has agreed to come back to host

our Coffehouse series which we are hoping will turn into a once monthly event where the community can come in casual dress, relax, enjoy some entertainment and coffee and dessert. The kick-off show is called Tell Me A Story and Mike promises many new tales.

The atmosphere will be an intimate, informal setting with café tables and candles in the lobby. Donations will be taken at the door as we continue to raise money for the care and upkeep of Hayesville's beautiful Peacock Playhouse. The entertainment will begin at 8pm and Mike's humorous, often nostalgic original songs will be mixed with familiar tunes from several decades. If this January show is any indication, expect some audience participation.
