Honey-one of nature's remedies
Try it for hay fever

Honey can be useful for the relief of allergies.
Honey has long been used as a culinary sweetener, and is valued for its many healing properties. Honey contains grains of pollen that is thought to have a desensitizing effect, useful for the relief of allergies. Eat locally harvested honey for relief of hay fever.

Treatment with honey is known as apitherapy and is credited with restorying energy, enhancing physical stamina and strengthening those weakened by illness or stress. Honey relieves indigestion and is used to treat cardiovascular disease and respiratory complaints. Just remember that honey contains 64 calories in a tablespoon compared to 46 calories in a tablespoon of granulated sugar.

A thin coat of honey can be applied to the skin to disinfect and heal minor skin wounds and chapped lips. Honey contain a germ-killing substance called inhibine, which helps prevent infections. You can spread the honey directly on the wound and cover with a sterile bandage.

Bees filter out environmental toxins. They die if they come into contact with toxins and so they do not bring pollutants into the hive.
