Pennies from Heaven?

In the March 21 issue of North Ga. News the commissioner said in his column in response to a letter writer that the tax increase was 4.etc percent and a little under 20 percent budget increase, yet the numbers given for the digest and budget increase show the actual increase was 31 percent. So where does the money come from?

Yeah, we know

One of the mysteries of life is the stupidity of some local drivers turning on their signal after they have started their turn. Come on people, the purpose of the turn signal is to show what you intend to do, not what you are already doing. We already know what you are doing.

Accidents happen

I realize what a horrible shame it is that people's beloved pets have died as a result of "poisonous" pet food. However, I have no tolerance for people being sued over it. Taking someone else's money does not make your pet come back, nor does it punish anyone. It only proves how greedy our fellow human beings can be.
