Aubrey Taffar

W. Aubrey Taffar, 89, died Monday, February 26, 2007 following a brief illness. Survived by four daughters and sons-in-law; and six grandchildren.

Aubrey was born August 22, 1917 in Atlanta and resided for many years in Decatur. After his retirement in 1982, Aubrey traveled extensively and moved to North Georgia. He lived in Hiawassee, Blairsville and Gainesville. He was a very active, lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church. He particularly enjoyed volunteering at Union General Hospital in Blairsville, where he made many friends. A. S. Turner & Sons.
