Tooth Fairy visits Child Enrichment Center at First United Methodist Church

On February 16, the Tooth Fairy visited the First United Methodist Church of Union County's Child Enrichment Center in celebration of Children's Dental Health Month. Blair House Dental Associates, located on 3431 Murphy Highway, sponsored the educational program for the young children. With the help of Frances McConnell and Teresa Colwell, the Tooth Fairy was able to show the children how to thoroughly brush and floss, as well as discuss what to expect when you go to the dentist. The children received goody bags with a tooth brush, dental floss and a coloring book. Ms. Martha Cone, Director of The Child Enrichment Center, stated that "The event was a big success and we look forward to another program on dental hygiene in the future. We'd like to thank the Tooth Fairy and her assistants for making this educational program fun for our young children."

The children, ages 2 through 4, thoroughly enjoyed the interactive events and they also shared their previous experiences visiting the dentist.

The Tooth Fairy explained, it's very important for young children to receive preventative dental care. If you'd like to learn more about dental care for children, please call Blair House Dental at 706-781-3340.
