Historical Society Corporate Partner: Georgia Farm Bureau

The Union County Historical Society presented a framed photograph of the Old Courthouse to John Mauldin and Patsy Plott of Georgia Farm Bureau. This presentation is in recognition of Georgia Farm Bureau becoming a Corporate Partner of the Union County Historical Society, the highest level of annual membership.

Georgia Farm Bureau is located in Blairsville on Cleveland Street just a few blocks South of the Square. Agency Manager John Mauldin has been with Farm Bureau for ten years and moved to Blairsville in July. A native of Georgia, John realizes the importance of preserving the special character of our mountain community, particularly in this time of rapid growth and change. We thank Georgia Farm Bureau for supporting our goals and wish them every success.

The Historical Society is completing it's 2007 membership drive and encourages all community members, businesses, professionals, and non-profits to join.
