Local Lions speak to Gainesville/ Lanier Lions Club

Union County Lions Gene and Louise Little were recent guest speakers for the Gainesville/Lanier Lions Club in Gainesville, Ga. As members of the MERL Team for District 18-D, Lions Gene and Louise were there to share ideas on how to increase the membership of the Gainesville/Lanier Lions Club.

MERL stands for Membership, Extention, Retention, Leadership. Lion Gene is the district chair for the Retention part of the MERL team and Lion Louise is the district chair for the Membership part of the MERL team.

Current President of the Gainesville/Lanier Lions Club, Vernon Farmer, was delighted to receive the numerous suggestions from Lions Gene and Louise and is already implementing several plans.
