Isabelle Margaret Dyer

Isabelle Margaret Dyer, 75, of Cornelia, Ga., died Saturday, February 10, 2007, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia following an extended illness.

Born in Clay County, North Carolina, on march 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Kimsey and Mae Phillips Garrett Kimsey. She was retired from Fielddale, Inc. where she worked in the processing department. Mrs. Dyer enjoyed painting, reading and crocheting, and was a member of Return Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a husband, Louie Oren Dills; brothers, Horace Garrett and Billy Garrett; sister, Sissy Quenn; and a daughter-in-law, Janice Dills.

Surviving family members include a daughter, Carol Ann Loudermilk, of Cleveland, Georgia; sons and daughter-inlaws: Pastor Dennis and Audrey Dills of Clarkesville, Georgia; Clifford and Wanda Dills, of Alto, Georgia; Charles Allen and Teresa Dills, of Kentucky; son, Kenneth Dills of Cornelia, Georgia; brother, Whelchel Garrett, of Blairsville; sisters, Lela Mashburn and Elizabeth Mull, both of Hiawassee, Georgia; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services were held on Monday, February 12, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald Grizzle and Pastor Dennis Dills officiating. Interment followed in Return Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday, between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9.
