Historical Society Corporate Partner: Chapman and Chapman

The Union County Historical Society presented a framed photograph of the Old Courthouse to Bruce and Sheila Chapman. This presentation is in recognition of Chapman and Chapman, Certified Public Accountants, upgrading its membership to Corporate Partner of the Union County Historical Society, the highest level of annual support. Both CPA's, Bruce and Sheila have been strong supporters of the Historical Society for many years.

The Chapman's established their CPA firm in Hiawassee in 1984 and opened an office in Blairsville in the early '90. A couple of years ago they purchased the old Shubert house on Pruitt Circle, and after a very successful renovation, the house now serves as their offices.

Bruce and Sheila Chapman realize the importance of preserving the special character of our mountain community, particularly in this time of rapid growth and change. We thank them for supporting our goals.

The Historical Society is in the midst of it's 2007 membership drive and encourages all community members, businesses, professionals, and nonprofits to join. Membership and planned giving support the Historical Society's preservation mission and efforts. Help preserve Union County's mountain heritage for generations to come by joining or contributing; please call 706-745-5493.
