Lions Les Myers recieves Extended Key Award
Longtime Union County Lions member, Les Myers, is a dedicated and very active Lion. So what is so special about Lion Les? Well, let us just say that he is 80+ years "young" and is able to work circles around many of those much younger than himself!

Over the years he has sponsored numerous Lions and the two most recent, Lions Jim Hinton and James Passmore, have remained active for well over a year, and that is why Lion Les was awarded the "Extended Key Award" at a recent Union County Lions Club meeting. Congratulations Lion Les for all that you do in the name of Lionism. We might add that Lion Les is also very active in this community with "Meals on Wheels," attending ribbon cuttings, with his church, and so much more.
The key award that Lion Les received is given out by Lions International and it is an honor to receive such. Lions International is headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., will Lions Clubs currently in 200 countries and geographic areas worldwide. Lions motto: We serve.
