House of Prayer offering Life Enrichment Classes

Classes to hone your skills and enrich your life are scheduled to begin February 20th at House of Prayer's new Family Life Center in Blairsville.

A variety of classes are offered to the community ranging from Fitness-cise to Fly Tying: 'Trout Fishing At It's Purest'. Everyone is welcome to take part in classes designed to meet your needs.

Enrichment Classes Offered:

Fitness-cise with instructor, Kim Cheeves. Cost is $30per person, per month or $3.50 per class. Class times are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; Tuesday and Friday from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Classes will be on-going throughout the year.

Drawing 101: The Basics with instructor/artist, Al Garnto. Cost is $76 per person and includes materials package. Class time is Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for four weeks. This class is limited to 20 students ages 16 & up.

Cake Decorating 1 with instructor, Jennifer Stewart. Cost is $89 per person and includes materials package. Class time will be Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for four weeks. This class is limited to 20 students.

Introduction to Spanish with instructor, Tim Stewart. Cost is $35 per person. Class time is 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for ten weeks. Class begins February 22nd.

Beginning Quilting with instructor, Nancy Hutchinson. Cost is $30 per person (No materials furnished). Class time is Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for six weeks. This class is limited to ten students and will begin February 27th.

Fly Tying; Trout Fishing at it's Purest with instructor, Gene Fechner. Cost to be addressed at first class. Class time is Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for four weeks. Class begins February 22nd.

New classes beginning in March will be Mosaic Art with instructor/artist Linda Denison and Dried Flowers: How To Dry & Arrange with instructor, Cecilia Pruitt. Other classes to be announced.

All classes require pre-registration. You may register at the Family Life Center, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. The Life Center is located at 850 Bible Camp Circle (behind House of Prayer Church, next to Canal Lake Bible Camp) in Blairsville.
