Guy Edward Reid

Mr. Guy Edward Reid, 84, of Blairsville, Ga., formerly of Tucker, Ga., died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007 in the Clay County Care Center following an extended illness.

Mr. Reid was born July 6, 1922 in Oglethorpe County, Ga., the son of the late Lester Reid and the late Sophie Mann Reid. He was a veteran of the U.Army and had owned and operated Reid Repair Company in Tucker for over 35 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Ken Reid 2000 and by his first wife, Florence Sosebee Reid in 1995. He was a member of the VFW and the DAV. Mr. Reid was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Reid are son and daughters-in-law, Ray and

Debbie Reid of Monroe, Ga.,

Shirley Reid of Snellville,

Ga.; grandchildren,

Justin, Josh and Phoebe;

many other relatives and friends also survive.
