Habitat for Humanity to build this summer

Habitat for Humanity is looking for a special family in Towns or Union counties for whom to partner with for the next house to be built this summer.

Persons interested in becoming homeowners through Habitat for Humanity should register to attend one of the Informational Meetings noted below. During the information meeting, qualifications, including income criteria, credit references and the application process will be discussed.

Registration for the meeting is requested to ensure adequate space. You can register by calling the local Habitat office at 706-379-2484, by email to habitatoffice@brmemc.net or by mail to Habitat for Humanity Towns/Union, P.O. Box 270, Young Harris, Ga. 30582. We will need your name, address, phone number and which meeting you plan to attend. Applications will only be given out during these meetings.

Where: Mountain Regional Library in Young Harris

When: Saturday, February 10 at 10 a.m.; Tuesday, February 13, at 7 p.m.

Persons who have applied previously and are still interested need to re-apply.
