Local Lion visits United Kingdom

L to R: Mike Vigurs, President of Hertford Lions Club; Bede Mullen, Vice President of Hertford Lions Club; and Michael Clark, Second VP of Union County Lions Club.
Lion Michael Clark, current Second Vice President of Union County Lions Club, visited his birth country, the United Kingdom, during the Christmas holidays, and while there he attended the Hertford Lions Club of Great Amwell.

Needless to say, Michael was treated like royalty even as he presented some lapel pins from various Lions Clubs from here in Georgia and the United States. The Hertford Lions Club is small in membership, only 15 members, however very active and committed to the Lions Motto of serving others in need. A bit of interest is that the

Hertford Lions Club

meets at George IV Pub of Great Amwell.

This is Lion Michael's fourth year in Union County Lions Club where he got his start in Lionism and is a great asset to this club.

More about Lion Michael's visit to the Hertford Lion's Club of Great Amwell in the United Kingdom in a future news article. Lions Motto: We serve.
