Second Wind Dream for Pam Goforth

Pam Goforth in her customized wheelchair with Olivia Bragg, Elizabeth Uhle and Gary Quellet.
Pam Goforth had a Second Wind Dream. Due to her physical condition, she is unable to sit comfortably in a normal wheelchair. Pam is a young woman who plans of being around as long as the Lord plans for her and she is hoping that is a long time.

The physical therapy professionals at Union County Nursing Home evaluated the situation and suggested to those of us working on Pam's Second Wind Dream a number of attachments that would be necessary to make Pam's chair comfortable and safe.

A few donations from a caring community and Pam is one happy lady. Laurel Rountree of Rountree's Furniture donated $1,200 two years ago and specified she wanted it to be used on something big. Thank you Laurel and each of our local banks as well as SWD Corporate Office in Alpharetta, who made up the difference in cost for making Pam's BIG dream come true.

When Pam was asked how her back felt she replied, "Wonderful!" When asked how her bottom felt, Pam replied, "Perfect!" Thank you Gary Quellet, Sales VP of Wolf Medical, who assembled the attachments to fit properly and even more importantly, gave the nursing home a discount and charged no labor or delivery for the important equipment.

Please come visit with Pam and let her tell you herself how comfortable she is.
